RE: WATER BILL REVIEW APPEAL

I am writing to appeal the decision by your company regarding the water bill for the house I am currently renting at [INSERT ADDRESS] with account number [INSERT NUMBER], which I received on [INSERT DATE]. I am disputing the current bill for being astronomically high due to the damaged plumbing that has yet to be repaired.
The plumbing on the property was damaged before I moved in, and I have notified your company for months about the damage and the ongoing repairs needed (See attached copies of the letters evidencing the same). Your company has been monitoring the property and even sent workers to visit the property on numerous occasions to confirm the damage and. During the most recent visit, the workers turned off all of my sprinklers due to the plumbing issue, which was recorded as evidence. Despite this, your company still claims that my sprinklers were never adjusted.
Further to the above, I would like to draw your attention to the letter you sent me denying my last appeal on the monthly water bill (See attached the letter dated [INSERT]). Dates of the visit are recorded in the said letter with clear evidence of the ongoing repairs to the property’s plumbing.
Despite your knowledge of the ongoing plumbing problems and repairs needed for the damaged plumbing and evidence to support that it indeed did affect the reading of the water usage, your company still insists that I pay the entirety of the water bill. I find this to be unfair and unjust, as I believe that as a result of the damaged plumbing, a large proportion of the water usage on the bill is not reflective of the genuine water usage at my property.
Therefore, I humbly request that you review my account and revise the bill calculation to reflect only the genuine water use at my property. I have enclosed a cheque for [INSERT AMOUNT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY] to this letter as payment for a fraction of the bill which I believe is a fair approximation of the actual water usage at the property for the billing period.
