Hello, I recently lost a very good case due to my lawyers ineffectiveness in a civil matter. I have filed a motion for a new trial and the hearing date has been set. I have drafted my points but i am finding it hard to cite relevant cases in regards to my state, which is SC. and properly formatting my document to look more professional. I also need help with drafting an appeal brief which should come up incase the new trial is denied though the chance for denial is slim.
My husband made a will and credible witnesses signed it. He passed away 3 months later. His son who was always not available for him contested the will by using hand wring expert who used signature exhibits as old as 1971-1992 and won the case and yet i had two credible witnesses that were impeached on absolutely no ground.
