CONTRIBUTOR RELEASE FORM
Thank you for accepting to take part in the virtual retreat dubbed______________________________________
(the “Event”).
Through this Contributor Release Form (“agreement”), you agree to allow Soaring High to record an interview/film with you (the Contribution) on the following terms and conditions:-
- I hereby agree that the copyright (if any) and all other rights title and interest in and in respect of my Contribution shall irrevocably vest in and is hereby assigned to Soaring High (and this assignment shall operate to the extent necessary as a present assignment of future copyright) and that Soaring High shall have the unfettered right to deal with the Event containing such Contribution or any part of it in any way that it thinks fit. Accordingly, I agree that my Contribution or the Event incorporating my Contribution or any part of it may be exhibited or otherwise however exploited (and such exploitation may include the exploitation of ancillary rights therein) in all media and formats throughout the universe for the full period of copyright and all renewals and extensions thereof and thereafter so far as may be possible in perpetuity free of any monetary consideration or liability.
- I irrevocably and unconditionally waive all rights relating to the Contribution and the Event to which I may now or may in the future be entitled.
- Soaring High may, without my consent, use my name, likeness, biography, photographs of me, and recordings of interviews with me for all purposes of advertising, publicizing, distributing, and exploiting the Event or advertising, promoting or publicizing itself in all media and formats throughout the universe.
- Soaring High shall not be liable to my legal representatives or me for any loss or damage or injury to my person or property caused or suffered during or in connection with this Contribution unless caused by the negligence of Soaring High and recoverable on that ground.
- Soaring High shall be under no obligation to make any use of my Contribution within the Event. It shall not be liable to me if my Contribution is not included in the Event or if the Event is not exhibited.
- The Contribution (s) shall not contain anything which is an infringement of copyright or which is calculated to bring Soaring High into disrepute or which is defamatory provided however that I shall not be liable in respect of any defamatory material which was included without negligence or malice on my part.
- Soaring High may store my contact details on their database in case they need to contact me but shall not disclose my contact details to any third party without my express written permission.
- I shall not any time disclose to any other person whatsoever any information concerning this agreement, whether such information is stated to be confidential or not, without the express written permission of Soaring High, including but not limited to contact details and material relating to the Event or persons involved in the Event (such as other speakers or myself).
- I shall send at least one promotional email to my database of email contacts in order to promote the Event.
- I hereby confirm that the terms of this agreement have been explained to me and that I understand them.
- I hereby confirm that I have the capacity to contract, and I freely and voluntarily enter into this agreement.
- The laws of New South Wales, Australia, govern the formation, validity, and execution of this agreement.
