Dear Warden,
My name is Flor I, Shutt. I am requesting a compassionate release for my mother’s sister-in-law, Bety Virgen Tadeo, Inmate no #A207717372, who is currently incarcerated in your detention center. Bety has been incarcerated since __________________. She has cancer which has caused her great emotional and health discomfort. Currently, she is beginning stage 3 of cancer which requires care and attention from her family and specialized medical attention.
Bety’s family and children live in Indianapolis, Indiana, and we can take care of her financially. She has no immediate family in Mexico, and she will not get proper cancer treatment. Besides, Bety is aging, and in the presence of her family, her health and general well-being are likely to improve.
I believe that Bety has maintained a clean disciplinary record while in the facility. She has also engaged in various educational programs and will continue to be of great help to her and our family.
If this compassionate release petition is granted, Bety will stay with her family in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she will be supported financially, and provisions for end-of-life care and medical care will be accorded to her. Further, the family will ensure that she implements the invaluable lessons that she has acquired from the facility. Due to her terminal health condition, she will remain at home.
