ACTOR AGREEMENT FOR FILM PROJECT “SACRIFICE (33 DAYS OF HOPE)”
This Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and effective as of [INSERT DATE], by and between [PRODUCTION COMPANY NAME], a company duly registered and existing under the laws of [INSERT COUNTRY] (hereinafter “Producer”), and [INSERT ACTOR’S NAME], a resident of [INSERT COUNTRY] (hereinafter “Actor”) also individually referred to as “Party” and collectively referred to as “Parties”.
WHEREAS, the Producer is engaged in the production of a motion picture currently titled “SACRIFICE (33 Days of Hope)” (the “Film”); and
WHEREAS, the Actor has been offered a role in the Film and is pleased to accept the role offered; and
WHEREAS, both the Actor and the Producer desire to set forth the terms and conditions governing the Actor’s participation in the Film.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and mutual covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows:
- ROLE AND SERVICES
- The Actor hereby accepts the offer to star in the Film as [Character Name].
- The Actor agrees to render their services and perform all necessary acts and duties as required by the Producer in connection with the Film, including rehearsals, filming, promotional activities, and any related work as reasonably requested.
- TERM
- The Actor’s participation in the Film shall commence on [Start Date] and continue until [End Date], unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both Parties.
- The Actor shall be available during the entire shooting period and shall not engage in any conflicting professional commitments without the prior written consent of the Producer.
- COMPENSATION
- As full and complete compensation for the services rendered by the Actor hereunder, the Production shall pay the Actor the sum of £1,230,000 (one million two hundred and thirty thousand euros) to be paid in full upon the successful completion of the Film and its subsequent release.
- A down payment of 50% shall be made upon the execution of this Agreement. All payments made hereunder shall be subject to all applicable union rules and regulations and tax withholdings.
- FILMING SCHEDULE & EXPENSES
- The Production shall provide the Actor with a schedule of filming at least three (3) weeks prior to the commencement of filming.
- The Actor shall make themselves available for work on dates scheduled unless mutually agreed upon by the Production.
- The Production shall communicate any changes in the schedule as soon as possible and shall cover reasonable travel and accommodation expenses incurred during the filming.
- SCRIPT FEEDBACK
- The Actor shall be given the opportunity to provide feedback on the script and any subsequent revisions in dialogue and character development.
- The Actor agrees to work with the Director and Screenwriter to achieve satisfactory results within the confines of the script.
- PUBLIC APPEARANCES
The Actor agrees to participate in all reasonable public appearances regarding the Film, such as press conferences, promotional events, and premiers.
- CONFIDENTIALITY
- The Actor shall treat all information obtained during the course of their participation in the Film as strictly confidential.
- The Actor shall not disclose any confidential information related to the production, including but not limited to the script, financial information, and personal information about other cast and crew members.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- The Actor acknowledges that all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, in the Film and any related materials shall vest solely with the Producer.
- The Actor hereby assigns any and all rights, title, and interest they may have in and to the Film and any related materials to the Producer, without any further consideration.
- TERMINATION
- Either Party may terminate this Agreement in the event of a material breach by the other Party.
- In the event of termination, the rights and obligations of the Parties shall be as set forth in the Agreement or as otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing.
- GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [INSERT STATE]. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [INSERT STATE].
- GENERAL PROVISIONS
- Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the complete and exclusive statement of the agreement between the Parties as to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all previous agreements with respect thereto.
- Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unenforceable or invalid, the other provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
- Notices
Any notice or other communication under this Agreement shall be in writing and shall be considered given when delivered personally or mailed by registered mail, return receipt requested, to the Parties at their respective addresses set forth above (or at such other address as a Party may specify by notice to the other).
- No Waiver
The failure of a party to insist upon strict adherence to any term of the Agreement on any occasion shall not be considered a waiver or deprive that party of the right thereafter to insist upon strict adherence to that term or any other term of this Agreement. Any waiver must be in writing.
