RE: MOTION TO MODIFY TERMS OF PROBATION, Case No. 2019 CR B 021213 – Plaintiff v Joseph Ronald Speakman Jr.
Your Honor, my name is Joseph Ronald Speakman Jr., the Defendant in the above case. I am bringing this Motion to Modify the terms of my probation.
I was placed on probation on 11/18/19 because I pled guilty to a Violate Protection Order charge brought against me by Mr. Justin C. Jeffries, a resident of 925 Ingleside Dr., #203 Columbus, Ohio 43215. The terms of my probation are that I should not act violently or issue any violent threats, and that I should stay away from Mr. Jeffries. I should not contact Mr. Jeffries by mail, email, text, social media, telephone or in person. If Court ordered visitation exists, it can be through a third party.
I have done my part in respecting and acting in accordance with the terms of my probation. I would like to clarify that Mr. Jeffries came to my house on various occasions as follows:
On 10/1/2019, Mr. Jeffries stopped by at 02:48pm without any notice rang the doorbell and left because I was in the shower. I did not answer the front door.
