MOTION FOR SPEEDY HEARING
COMES NOW, Defendant XXX, pro
se; and pursuant to Section XXX Statutes (XXX), requests this Court to expedite on
the hearing of the Defendant’s three pending motions. In support thereof, Defendant states the
following:
Section XXXStatutes (XXX) guarantees speedy trial in all criminal
prosecutions. Section 918.015(1) of the said provision provides in pertinent part that “[i]n all
criminal prosecutions the state and the defendant shall each have the right to a speedy trial.” In
the instant action, the Defendant filed two motions, to wit:
i. Motion for Post-Conviction Relief;
ii. Motion to Modify Probation; and
iii. Motion for New Trial
