SHOWMI STAGING AND DÉCOR COMPANY CONTRACT

This contract between ShowMi Staging and Décor Company herein known as “Designer,” and [Name], herein known as “Client,” is entered into this [date] day of [month], [year].

Client and Designer agree to the following provisions:

  • The Job

Client is hiring the Designer Company to perform work in/on [area(s) where Designer will be working] at [location of home, apartment, etc.].

  • Specific Services (Work]

Designer Company will perform the following services as part of this job:

  1. Design. [Description of the design process]
  2. Details. [Specifics about furniture, wall colors, etc. that Designer and Client will agree upon]
  • The Work
  • Work will begin on [date], and is estimated to take [length of time] to complete.
  • Work will happen in the following phases: [description of the phases of work].
  • Designer will use the following contractors or third-party employees for the completion of the work: [list of contractors].
  • Payment
      1. Client will pay Designer [amount] for these services.
      2. Half of the total amount payable shall be paid by the client before the assigned work begins.
      3. The client shall bear the cost of travel, hotel and rental car if the work is to be done in a different state other than the State of Texas.
      4. The remaining payment shall be paid not later than 10 days after the assigned work is complete.
      5. Non-payment of the necessary payments shall lead to {a stoppage of work, termination of the agreement, etc.}.
  • Changes

Any changes made to this plan must be discussed with Client and approved in writing before their implementation.

  • Cancellation

Client has the right to terminate this agreement if {reasons for which Client may terminate this agreement}.

Designer has the right to terminate this agreement if {reasons for which Designer may terminate this agreement}.

  • Liability
  • The Company is only liable for damages caused in the design process if the damage is due to the negligence of the Company or any of its contactors while performing the assigned work.
  • Any damage caused as a result of the Client’s mistake, misrepresentation, ambiguity in description of the work to be done or any other reason caused by the client shall be the sole responsibility of the client. The company shall be free from any liability by the client.
  • Enforceability

If any provision of this agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will be binding and enforceable.

This agreement is subject to the laws and regulations of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of Texas.
