RE: RELEASE OF XXX AND CHACO’S FUNDS IN THE SUM OF USD 31,500
We refer to the above matter. We have consulted our lawyers regarding this matter and on this premise, wish to address you as hereunder;
Our company was a seller in your online platform dealing with footwear, which details are well within your knowledge. Due to a misunderstanding between us and yourselves, you closed down our account and seized our funds alleging that the invoice we presented to you was forged.
We wish to clarify that the invoice you deem to be forged was only altered because the actual invoices would not have passed the invoice vetting guidelines as an acceptable invoice. Whereas the invoice was altered, it does not defeat the fact that the items sold were genuine and the thousands of amazon sellers who benefitted have not raised any issue. Suffice to say, there are no open claims against our account.
Further, you have closed our account for much longer than 90 days. While you may be well within your mandate to suspend accounts, we are advised by our lawyers that you infringed on our rights by holding our money, which you are well aware was obtained from genuine sales.
We now demand the release of our money which you are holding illegally, in the sum of USD 31,500 within seven (7) days of today’s date failure to which we will unequivocally proceed to court and file a suit against you, where you are at risk of paying damages, costs and other incidentals.
