MAY IT PLEASE THE COURT,
Plaintiff respectfully moves this Honorable Court to order that Plaintiff be allowed to
prosecute the writ of mandamus in forma pauperis pursuant to Rule 24 of the Federal Rules of
Appellate Procedure and L.R. 5-2 of the Local Rules for the U.S. District Court, Central District
of California.
As grounds for this motion, Plaintiff avers that she is currently on medical benefits. She
is unable to pay the fees and costs for the writ of mandamus. She has also been proceeding in
forma pauperis in the state court, at the trial stage of the instant action.
In support of this motion, Plaintiff has attached a Declaration, under oath, in Support of
this Motion. In the Declaration, Plaintiff has testified as to her poverty and her inability to pay
the costs of this proceeding or to give security of the same.

WHEREFORE, Plaintiff EUN JUNG LIM prays this Honorable Court grant her leave to
