NOTICE OF FORFEITURE OF FIREARM FOR NON-PAYMENT OF FEES
Founding Fathers Outfitters, a Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer, received a firearm (specify make/design) for onward transmission to you on …… and informed you of the same. We clearly explained to you the period within which you would come to our premises, perform your background checks and collect your firearm being 15 days.
We further explained to you that failure to collect the firearm within the set period of 15 days would necessitate that we move the said firearm to a long-term storage vault which attracts a storage fee of 5 USD for each day that the firearm remains uncollected.
It has now been ……………………. (number of) days, yet you have failed and/or neglected to collect your firearm. You have also not made any efforts to communicate to Founding Father Outfitters the reasons for your failure to collect the firearm. The daily storage fee of USD 5 has now accumulated to USD……….. which is 50% (insert percentage if more) the value of the firearm.
In accordance with our policies which were clearly articulated to you, once the daily storage fees of USD 5 exceed 50% of the firearm’s value, we forfeit the firearm to cover all the accrued costs and you have no claim to it whatsoever. As aforementioned, your storage arrears stand at USD ……. and we now wish to notify you that we have forfeited your firearm in accordance to the policies that you agreed to.
Note that you are no longer deemed as the bona fide owner of the said firearm unless you clear the entire outstanding amount WITHIN 7 DAYS of today’s and thereafter seek for fresh timelines from Founding Fathers Outfitters,
