MENTORSHIP AGREEMENT
This Mentorship Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) is made on
__________________20___ Between ___________________ (hereinafter referred
to as the “Mentor”) and ______________________ (hereinafter referred to as the
“Client”). Together referred to as the “parties”.
1. Service.
The parties hereby agree that the mentor owns a salon business and agrees to
herein provide a mentorship/stylist mentorship program by providing a monthly
master class intensive about something specific in the industry i.e., Taxes,
speed/timing, scheduling, stretches/mobility flows for stylists.
The Client herein agrees to commit to between 8-16 hours of hand on work,
observation, or mannequin practice every week.
The mentor will have a section where the client can put their availability down for
when they can come.
2. Term.
The services herein shall be for sixty days from the date of signing hereof or until the
agreement is terminated under the terms herein.
3. Compensation.
The parties agree that the Mentor will be paid a total of $2,000. 30% will be paid
upfront and the remainder shall be remitted in 5 monthly installments of $280.
4. Confidentiality.
Parties herein agree that this agreement entails sharing confidential information for
the mentor to be able to deliver the services herein such as any printable,
paperwork, and worksheets that the client may receive from the program.
The client acknowledges that they will receive confidential information personal to
the mentor and shall not disclose it to any third party without prior written consent.
5. Termination.
The parties herein may terminate the terms of this Agreement for reasons which
include but are not limited to; –
i. Non-payment
ii. Not sticking to the agreed-upon hours of practice or observation.
iii. A violation of confidentiality.
Parties herein agree that the mentor will assist the client open their LLC, and bank
account, and tag the participants in the mentor’s marketing posts on social media to
help the client grow their business.
When the client leaves, the mentor will send an email to everyone the client worked
on as a recommendation to continue working with them. The Mentor will further
assist the client gain their sister locks (TM) certification by doing their best to book &
mentoring the client on their mandatory three clients that they start by themselves.
6. Dispute Resolution.
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or the breach
thereof, shall be settled by mediation in accordance with the rules of the State of
Georgia.
7. Governing Law.
This Agreement shall be construed, governed, and interpreted according to the Laws
of the state of Georgia.
8. Waiver.
The waiver by either party of the breach of any covenant or provision in this
Agreement shall not operate or be construed as a waiver of any subsequent breach
by either party.
9. Severability.
In the event a court of competent jurisdiction declares any term or provision of this
Agreement to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, this Agreement will remain
in full force and effect and either:
a. The invalid or unenforceable provision(s) will be modified to the minimum
extent necessary to make such provision(s) valid and enforceable; or
b. If such a modification is not possible, this Agreement will be interpreted as if
such invalid or unenforceable provision(s) were not a part of this Agreement.
10. Amendment.
This Agreement cannot be amended without the written consent of all parties herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereunto set their signatures and
acknowledged this Agreement as the date first above written.
