RE: DEMAND FOR DEPOSIT REFUND OF $642 PAID ON 05/25/2022 FOR
SERVICES NOT DELIVERED.
We have received instructions from our client Jason Walters to address you as
hereinbelow.
You and our client entered into a contract in which you were to urgently prepare and
deliver a logo design at the agreed price of $1284 with an initial deposit of $642.
The deposit of $642 was paid on May 18 th, 2022 (now past). Indeed, you prepared
several concepts which did not meet the required standards and were not approved
by our client, and several attempts to have a meeting with you proved difficult. Since
the logo design was urgently needed, our client outsourced another third party from
whom a design was created to our client’s satisfaction and could meet the deadline.
Our client canceled his instructions with you, and his several requests for a full
refund of the deposit paid have been met with harsh words, and to this day, no
refund has been made.
This letter is to inform you that you are in breach of the contract that clearly stated
that payment is due (for work completed) upon final approval of the design concept.
From the above, no work was completed, and there was no final approval or any
from our client.
Our client has therefore instructed us to demand from you the refund of the deposit
amount of $642 within the next FOURTEEN DAYS (i.e., on or before July 29 th , 2022),
failure of which we shall go forth and institute the appropriate legal proceedings
against you to obtain the necessary court Orders at your legal cost.
