CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT FOR PART TIME EMPLOYEES
This contract is entered into by and between [NAME] of address [ADDRESS] (“Employer”) and [NAME] of address [ADDRESS] (“employee”) on [DATE], herein the (“effective date”)
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, and of the mutual promises and undertakings herein contained, the parties, intending to be legally bound, do agree as follows:
- Appointment
The employee hereby accepts the appointment and is appointed as a

- Term
This agreement shall be effective for 6 months from the effective date.
This agreement is renewable after 6 months and is subject to change after every renewal.
- Employee’s obligations

- The Employee shall, during the continuance of this Contract, serve the Company to the best of their ability in the position stated above or any other capacity as may be determined by the Company.
- The Employee acknowledges that he/she shall be employed solely by the Company.
- The Employee shall faithfully and diligently perform such duties and exercise such powers consistent with them as the Company may from time to time properly assign to or confer upon them.
- The Employee’s employment is at all times subject to the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Employment Regulations 2004 (the “Employment Regulations”) and any subsequent provisions which may from time to time be issued by the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority (the “Authority”).
- The Employee agrees to surrender his/her passport to the Authority if requested at any time by the Authority to do so.
- 4.1 The employee is employed on a part time basis.
- The employee shall have a probation period of 2 months. During the two months, the employee can be dismissed at any time without cause and this agreement can be terminated at any time without cause.

- The employee shall be paid a basic salary of 3000 AED per hour of work. Lunch breaks shall be unpaid.
- Code of conduct
- The Employee shall at all times and in all respects comply with the lawful rules and codes of conduct or statements of principles in force from time to time by the Company and/or required by any regulatory body in relation to the business of the Company or the status of the Employee.
- The employer recognizes the rights of employees to work in an environment free of harassment. The Company shall not condone acts of harassment based on but not limited to race, religion, sex, national origin, color or disability.
- Property of the Company
Any documents in hard copy or in other form and any equipment, that the Employee may receive or use while performing his/her duties during the term of his/her employment shall remain the property of the Company, and shall be returned to the Company at the Company’s request and, in any event, shall be delivered to the Company on the termination of the employment. The Employee shall not make copies of any such materials for personal use or advantage.
- Confidentiality
The Employee shall not at any time (either during or after the termination of his/her employment) disclose or communicate to any person or use for his/her own benefit or the benefit of any person any confidential information concerning the business dealings, affairs or conduct of the Company, its staff or business partners or any similar matters which may come to the Employee’s knowledge or possession during the term of the Employee’s employment.
- Non-Competition
The Employee shall not during the term of this Contract and for a period of twelve (12) months after the expiration or termination of this Contract for any reason, directly or indirectly, whether as owner, partner, shareholder, director, employee, consultant, distributor, agent, representative, sponsor or otherwise carry on or be engaged, concerned or interested in carrying on within Dubai of any business or employment which may compete with the business of the Company or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries and in respect of which the Employee has performed services during the period falling Six (6) months prior to the expiration or termination of the Employee’s employment
- Termination
- Either Party to this Agreement may terminate this Agreement upon a one month written notice of termination to the other Party.
- Unless otherwise mutually agreed to in writing, upon the termination of this Agreement, any arrangement tied to this agreement then in effect will immediately terminate.
- Violation of any part of this agreement shall immediately terminate this agreement.
- In the event where a dispute arises and the parties fail to amicably resolve the dispute, this agreement may be terminated as a result.
- The Company may terminate the Employee’s employment immediately without notice on the ground provided under Article 120 of Federal Labor Law.
- If by reason of misconduct, misbehavior or lack of integrity the Employee does not perform his/her basic duties under this Contract and persists in breaching them despite having been warned that he will be dismissed if such behavior continues, the Employee may be liable to immediate dismissal without any further notice.
- Jurisdiction and governing laws.
- This Contract shall be governed by and be construed in accordance with the Laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
- The courts in Dubai shall have a non-exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine all disputes arising under this Contract, subject to the provisions of (resolution of Labour Disputes) of the Employment Regulations.
