COACHING CONTRACT
This Coaching agreement is entered into on this _____ day of ______ 2022. Between
_______________ and ________________. Together referred to as “parties”.
Coaching for Caregivers (CC) is a division of Resources for Caregivers. Contractors
who work virtually manage their schedules and work within the platform and guidelines
established by the agency offer coaching services.
The Contractors agree to the following:
1. To communicate with clients exclusively through CC tools (online scheduling,
payment processing, zoom account, email).
2. To offer free 15-minute introductory calls to potential clients who request an initial
call to learn more.
3. To be compensated at 75% of the clients’ payment for their services.
Compensation to contractors will be issued every two weeks. A 1099 will be
mailed to them at the end of the year for tax purposes.
4. To use their equipment, including a zoom capable computer that has a quality
camera, a stable internet connection, earbuds/phones to maintain client
confidentiality, and a designated workspace that is private and free from
distractions and interruptions throughout the session.
5. To identify “go-to” resources for the website (i.e., articles, websites, YouTube
clips) and tools that they will often use (i.e., checklists, screenings).
6. To respond to requests for services and other business communications within
48 hours.
7. To schedule 60 minutes for each coaching session, 45 minutes with the client,
and 15 minutes for notes/follow-up emails. Start and end each coaching session
with the client as scheduled (45 minutes), then immediately write the coaching
note using the agency’s template and send it to the client with links to the
resources discussed. Once they have emailed their coaching note and
resources to the client, the session is considered complete. The coaching note
should be professional, comprehensive, and a tool to help clients reflect on their
accomplishments and plan their next steps.
8. At all times, be professional and not express personal opinions or experiences;
instead, provide professional insight based on current research-based theory,
strategies, and tools.
9. To maintain professional liability insurance.
10. Provide accurate and current information for their Coaching for Caretakers online
profile and submit appropriate support evidence (degrees, certification, resume,
work references, professional liability insurance) with this signed contract.
11. The Relationship herein is an independent contractor, and nothing shall be
construed otherwise.
12. That the Governing law of this agreement shall be laws of _____________.
13. In case of a dispute, parties shall refer the matter to mediation if it fails; the same
shall be referred to arbitration, whose decision shall be final and binding.
14. The services provided herein shall not be assigned to any third parties without
the other party’s written consent.
