COURT ORDERS BRIAN DELINO AND BIG DADDY FORMALS TO PAY $19,737.50
IN DAMAGES

Formal Builder won a lawsuit against Big Daddy and Brian Delino through a judgment delivered
in Los Angeles, California on July 20, 2022. The defendants were former employees of Formal
builder. The employees were charged with multiple crimes, including fraud and embezzlement.
Brian Delino (former employee) duped clients into sending him money fraudulently.
Formal Builder filed a law suit against Big Daddy Formals and Brian Delino, alleging inter alia,
embezzlement by concealment, conversion and international interference. According to the
plaintiffs, Brian Delino had created a fake Venmo account and had clients wire him money
directly into his bank account. Brian Delino was accused of allegedly deceiving a fraternity
chapter of thousands of dollars for his own personal gain. The illegal scheme began during the
course of Brian’s employment with Formal builder. Brian allegedly stole trade secrets including
poaching client lists.
The Los Angeles Central District Court has delivered a judgment against the defendants.
Consequently, ordered Brian Delino and Big Daddy Formals to pay $19,737.50 as damages. The
court also made orders as to costs of $120 for filing of the Anti-SLAPP motion to be paid by the
defendants.

employee’s disloyalty to the company during the pandemic. Delino’s disloyalty to the company
deteriorated the effect on the pandemic. Delino and Big Dady Formals duped clients into
believing that the company had conducted over 2,000 formals and had 20 years of experience in
the industry.
Mr. Olivas warned prospective clients of Big daddy Formals to read the full case before entering
any contractual agreements with the company. Mr. Oliva’s stated as follows, “Brian’s
premeditated plan to commit these actions months in advanced, while still employed with us
shows his true character. I view this judgment as a very small win for now, but Brian will likely
continue to suffer financial losses in this case along with his professional and personal
credibility.”
