This is a formal request for a charge of possession of 0.5 grams or more of cocaine
with intent to sell that I received on 5/29/2002 to be removed from my record.
Enclosed is a copy of my record and the case number at Giles county criminal court.
Pulaski, Tn docket: 10593.
I was charged on 5/29/2002, ten years ago, when I was 15 years old. It was my first
charge at 15, and I was tried as an adult at 16 years. However, the charge is on my
record, and I would like to have it removed.
I graduated from college on _______________ and have been working as
______________ for _________________. I have received commendations from my
supervisors and hope to advance in my career.
I have not participated in any criminal activity since the possession occurrence. I was
young and made a mistake, but I learned that it was leading me along a dangerous
path.
It would be good to have that charge off my record when lenders and employers do a
background check on me to further my career, buy a home, and get a car loan.
